      Try it with your learner

      1. Gather real food items or pictures of healthy foods from your kitchen. 2. Get a large paper plate and divide it into sections using a marker. 3. Choose at least five different food items or pictures to represent different food groups. 4. Place or glue the foods on your plate according to the groups: grains, proteins, fruits, vegetables, and dairy. 5. Share your plate with family, explaining the benefits of each food type. 6. Discuss how this meal would energize you for the day!
