Embodied cognition theory suggests that physical movement helps solidify learning. Jumping over hurdles while discussing healthy habits engages multiple senses, making the information more memorable.
1. Gather 5 soft objects to use as hurdles (e.g., cushions, books). 2. Arrange them in a line with 1 meter between each. 3. Create a list of 5 healthy habits (e.g., drink water, exercise). 4. Jump over each hurdle while shouting out a healthy habit. 5. After jumping, discuss why each habit is important with your family. 6. Challenge your family to join and see who can jump and name the most habits!
