Hold the breath for a count of three, then slowly release it through your mouth. 4. Repeat this breathing pattern for 5 minutes, focusing on the feeling of air filling your lungs. 5. As thoughts come, acknowledge them and gently return to your breath. 6. Share how you feel with a family member after the session.
