Try it with your learner
1. Sit quietly in a room and close your eyes. 2. Listen carefully to the sounds around you for 1 minute. 3. Ask someone to make 3 different sounds (like clapping, whistling, or tapping). 4. Repeat the sounds back in the order you heard them. 5. Discuss with your partner which sounds were the easiest and hardest to remember. 6. Challenge them to create their own set of sounds for you to guess.
