Controlled breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting calmness and focus. By combining breathing exercises with interactive challenges, children practice mindfulness, reinforcing their ability to concentrate and stay engaged.
1. Sit comfortably with your back straight. 2. Take a deep breath in through your nose for 4 seconds. 3. Hold your breath for 4 seconds. 4. Slowly exhale through your mouth for 4 seconds. 5. Repeat this cycle 5 times, focusing on your breath. 6. Challenge someone to do this with you and compare how calm you both feel!
