Mindfulness practices, like focused breathing, activate calmness in the brain, reducing cognitive load. This helps children enter a flow state, where they're fully immersed in a single task, enhancing their ability to concentrate over time.
1. Gather a shallow dish, bubble solution, and a straw. 2. Fill the dish with bubble solution until it's half full. 3. Take a deep breath, then gently exhale through the straw into the solution. 4. Watch as bubbles form and rise — focus on each bubble as it floats away! 5. Repeat while counting how many bubbles you create in one minute. 6. Share your bubble count with a family member — who can make more?
