Embodied cognition theory suggests that physical movement enhances learning experiences. As children engage in a treasure hunt, they connect action with fitness concepts, making the benefits of exercise stick in their memory.
1. Write down 5 different exercises on paper (e.g., jumping jacks, squats). 2. Hide each paper in different rooms of your home. 3. Create a map or clues leading to each location. 4. Set a timer for 15 minutes and start the hunt! 5. When you find a clue, do the exercise for 30 seconds. 6. Celebrate your treasure hunt by sharing your favorite exercises with family.
