Role-playing emotions engages children physically and cognitively, activating embodied cognition. By mimicking feelings, they strengthen their emotional intelligence and understanding of social cues.
1. Write down 10 different emotions on pieces of paper (e.g., happy, sad, angry). 2. Fold the papers and place them in a bowl. 3. Take turns picking a paper and acting out that emotion without speaking. 4. The other person guesses the emotion being acted out. 5. Discuss a time when you felt that emotion after each round. 6. How do you think others feel in similar situations?
