Using embodied cognition, children physically express emotions, which enhances memory retention and understanding. The social interaction involved in guessing fosters a supportive environment for emotional expression, aligning with Vygotsky's scaffolding principles.
1. Write down different emotions on slips of paper (happy, sad, angry, etc.). 2. Fold the slips and place them in a bowl. 3. Take turns picking a slip and acting out the emotion without speaking. 4. Everyone else guesses the emotion being displayed. 5. Discuss times when you felt that emotion after each round. 6. Repeat with new emotions or add creative twists like sound effects.
