1. Gather a large sheet of paper and colored markers. 2. Draw a rough outline of India on the paper. 3. Identify 5 places important to your family (hometowns, states, etc.). 4. Mark these places on your map with symbols or colors. 5. Write a brief story next to each place about its significance. 6. Share your map with family — what did they think of your discoveries?
