      The learning connection

Engaging in design thinking principles encourages children to analyze and empathize with the audience. By creating an exhibition, they navigate the stages of ideation, prototyping, and testing, which deepens their cognitive grasp of artistic concepts.

      Extend the Lesson

      Try it with your learner

      1. Gather 5 pieces of your favorite art (drawings, paintings, crafts). 2. Choose a space in your home to display them. 3. Arrange the artworks in an appealing way with space in between. 4. Create labels for each artwork, including the title and a short description. 5. Invite family members to tour your exhibition. 6. Ask for feedback on what they liked or what could be improved.
