Try it with your learner
1. Gather materials: colored paper, scissors, glue, and a candle or flashlight. 2. Cut the colored paper into a rectangle (30cm x 15cm). 3. Fold the paper in half lengthwise and cut slits along the fold, stopping 2cm from the edge. 4. Unfold the paper and roll it into a cylinder, gluing the edges. 5. Attach a string or ribbon on top for hanging. 6. Share the story behind your lantern's design during your parade!
