1. Gather various food items from your kitchen (fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins). 2. Take a large plate and divide it mentally into sections for different food groups. 3. Arrange the food items on the plate according to your understanding of a balanced meal. 4. Take a picture of your plate creation. 5. Discuss with family what makes your plate healthy and what could be added or changed. 6. Share your plate picture with friends for their opinions!
