      Why It Works

      The learning connection

Using Bruner's CPA approach, children first create a concrete storyboard before moving to the abstract concept of animation. This visual representation simplifies complex storytelling elements, allowing them to focus on developing creativity and narrative flow.

      Extend the Lesson

      Try it with your learner

      1. Gather 5 sheets of paper and a pencil. 2. Choose a simple story or create your own. 3. Divide the story into 5 key scenes and sketch them on each sheet. 4. Label each scene with a short description of the action. 5. Cut out characters from old magazines to represent your story. 6. Share your storyboard with Amma or Appa and explain the sequence.
