1. Grab a box and fill it with random objects (5-10 items). 2. Choose one item as your debate topic; it can be silly or serious! 3. Write down 3 arguments for and 3 against this topic on paper. 4. Pair up with a family member and take turns presenting your arguments. 5. Listen and respond to your partner’s points. 6. Reflect on what surprised you about the opposing viewpoint.
