      The learning connection

By engaging in a playful task like bubble blowing, children experience embodied cognition as they connect breathing with physical action. This multisensory experience enhances focus and emotional regulation, making deep breathing practices more effective.

      Try it with your learner

      1. Mix 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of dish soap in a bowl. 2. Take a straw and dip it into the bubble solution. 3. Take a deep breath, then gently blow through the straw to make bubbles. 4. Count how many bubbles you create with each breath. 5. Try blowing bigger bubbles by taking deeper breaths! Count again. 6.
