      Extend the Lesson

      Try it with your learner

      1. Take a balloon and stretch it a few times. 2. Take a deep breath in through your nose for 4 seconds. 3. Slowly blow into the balloon for 4 seconds until it inflates. 4. Close your mouth and slowly let the air out of the balloon for 4 seconds. 5. Repeat this 5 times, focusing on your breathing with each inflation. 6. Share how you feel before and after the activity with your family.
